Breaking News: Gamers Sign Dundons

Pending physicals the Gamers have reached a preliminary agreement with prized free agent slugger Jimmy Dundon. The deal is also expected to include a provision that would allow Jimmy's son Eric to play as well. Terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed but it is believed to be a substantial offer that would "break the bank".

It would have to be considering that Dundon was highly sought after by "Darkside" one of the nation's top co-ed teams. Dundon who just spent the summer travelling the nation competing in tournaments is expected to be a DH/Pitcher for the Gamers while Eric will likely get the majority of his playing time in the outfield.

This signing is a coup for the Gamers who desperately needed another pitcher with projected opening day starter Rob Roll banged up with a severe knee injury. With the Dundons in the fold the Gamers are unquestionably the team to beat now.

Softball legend Jimmy Dundon and his son Eric are set to sign with the Gamers.
