Game Preview

Here's a look at this week's matchup as the Gamers take on Game Face in a huge early season matchup.

Field Conditions

The game will be held at Jones Beach East a well groomed fenced in park that is notoriously windy since it's located right near the ocean. It's Long Island's answer to Candlestick Park. Early in the morning you might also experience hazy conditions that could make it hard to see the ball. The conditions won't favor one team over the other although a homerun limit could be an advantage for the Gamers since Game Face is known for their power.

Weather Report

Sunny mid to upper 60's at game time. No rain. Should be a great day for some softball.

Scouting Report

Game Face is the pre season favorite to win it all in our division. They dominated last week outscoring their oponents by 20 runs in two impressive blowout victories. They have a lot of power hitters who tend to hit the ball to centerfield. They don't have a lot of team speed but they are agressive on the basepaths looking to take the extra base whenever they can. It will be imperative to get the ball in quick from the outfield and cut down on the number of errors made.

Projected Lineup

After scoring 30 runs last week the Gamer's patented ABABA lineup will be back.
